POSITION GOALS
- Review business processes in order to gain a complete understanding of current procedures identify improvements
- Document those processes, and connect business heads to information technology groups in an organization.
- Responsible for analysing and modeling existing business processes.
- To understand and document current business procedures and identify areas for improvement.
- A thorough understanding of the current state of the organization is necessary prior to recommending changes related to implementing a new business solution.
- The business analyst is responsible for the knowledge transfer of business implications to the application/database developers and project managers.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Understand business and ensures there is integration between business and technology.
- Work closely with the operations and technical teams and is a major contributor to the requirements specification deliverable
- Provides analytic support by coordinating data extraction from various databases and data interpretation.
- Create report templates and data gathering tools to meet desired future standard
- Data custodian & controller
- Trend analysis and aligning with account management team
- Technology Tools incl Helpdesk – Trending and Analytics
- Deliver output files for reports and dashboards
- Sign off on data roadworthiness
- Facilitate Reporting on compliances
- Seek and collate data for analytics
- Generate MIS and reports as management requirement
- Predictive reporting
- Work with finance on budget targets
- Cross verification of data as per agreed TOR time to time
- Generate Daily reports, Weekly reports, MMR, QBR, ABR etc. and own the reports.
Education/Years of Experience
Graduated in Analytics from a reputed Management Institute. Should have related experience of 7-10 years.
Skills
Should have business analysis skills and experience in modeling business processes.
Extremely strong communication and presentation skills
Good documentation skills.
Industry knowledge will be added advantage
Is very analytical with problem-solving and conflict resolution skills to help identify, communicate and resolve issues
