Ability to perform Manager review of complex federal and state tax returns of US Individual and Trusts (Form 1040 and 1041) prepared by associates and first level reviewed by senior associates/Assistant Manager
Should be up-to-date with the tax law changes and apply it on the tax returns
Manage high net worth individual clients and large engagements
Responsible for Quality Assurance for projects handled by the team
Ability to identify technical issues on the engagements and to present with the recommendations to the engagement teams
Acting as subject matter expert (“Go To” Person) and be a conduit for knowledge sharing
Ability to manage the engagements and coach the team on technical concepts
Actively participating in the technical forums
Train the team members on high technical concepts
Ability to identify gaps, coach, mentor and developing technical skills of team members
Build professional relationship with the engagement teams
Lead the team independently and help in coaching them on career development
Must act as a SPOC/liason with the US offices he/she is closely working with
