AutoCAD Draftsman – CNC Machine
Position: AutoCAD DraftsmanEmployment Type: Full-Time, PermanentDepartment: CNC / Fabrication
We are looking for an experienced and responsible AutoCAD Draftsman to join our CNC and fabrication team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate 2D AutoCAD drawings for CNC laser cutting and fabrication.
- Read and understand customer drawings and convert them into CNC-ready drawings.
- Prepare part drawings, dimensions, holes, profiles, and cutting layouts.
- Modify and revise drawings as required.
- Prepare drawings for CNC laser cutting, bending and fabrication.
- Ensure dimensions and drawings are accurate before sending for production.
- Coordinate with the production team to avoid errors and rework.
- Handle nesting and arrange components efficiently to reduce material wastage.
Requirements
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.
- Experience in CNC laser cutting / sheet-metal fabrication is preferred.
- Ability to read engineering and fabrication drawings.
- Good understanding of dimensions, tolerances and measurements.
- Responsible, accurate and willing to work as part of a production team.
