As the RnD Lead, you will play a critical role in defining and driving the product vision and strategy for EyeROV. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and marketing, to develop products that address market needs and stand out in a competitive industry. Your focus will be on ensuring the successful development and lifecycle management of robotics products that incorporate advanced embedded systems.

Develop a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with the company's objectives and addresses market needs in the robotics and embedded systems domain.

Market and Customer Insights:

Conduct extensive market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and pain points.

Analyze competitive products and identify potential growth opportunities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with engineering, design, and marketing teams to develop and coordinate the product development process.

Ensure that the product aligns with the overall company strategy and meets customer expectations.

Product Lifecycle Management:

Oversee the product lifecycle from ideation to launch and post-launch support.

Establish metrics and KPIs to measure product success and guide continuous improvement.

Technical Expertise:

Design and Architecture of Embedded and Software part of EyeROV products and solutions, which include underwater remotely operated vehicles, autonomous underwater and surface vehicles

Leverage your deep understanding of robotics and embedded systems to guide product development.

Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends to ensure that our products are at the forefront of innovation.

Skill sets :
-
Proven work experience in product management in Robotics/Electronic Hardware companies
-
Should have led and worked in the full product life cycle from development to post-sale upgrades
-
Should have worked with cross-functional roles, including electro-mechanical systems, software, and an understanding of production aspects of product development.

Established Project management with complex systems having a minimum BoM of 100+ components and 10+ subsystems/blocks
-
Should have led a team of at least 10+ R&D team members

Experience in ROS
-
Programming skillsets - C, C++, Python
Added advantage :

Worked on the defense grade system developments

Experience in Marine/Subsea Electromechanical systems
- Experience in project management tools like Zoho Projects

Prior experience in startups

Experience in embedded systems/hardware design

Should be adept with Electronic hardware certifications and standards and have executed the same.
Qualification :

BE/B.Tech/M.Tech and PhD in Electronics/Electrical or circuit branches.
