You'll be the person the company turns to when a matter can't be handled with a template, running the full legal function end-to-end: land and property title disputes, corporate law and statutory compliance, labour and industrial relations matters, FSSAI and AGMARK regulatory compliance, and direct and indirect taxation disputes. You'll accompany and support our external counsel at every court appearance, civil courts, revenue courts, labour tribunals, and wherever else a matter lands, not just brief them from the office and wait for an update. You'll also build and run the internal legal team. We need someone who has actually stood beside counsel in a courtroom facing a judge, a labour commissioner, and a tax officer, not just someone who has reviewed contracts from a desk for 15 years.
Most engineers spend their career shipping features for someone else's roadmap. Here, you'll work on systems with real operating history and real stakes: a mail platform securing 50M+ mailboxes at 99.9% uptime, an on-premises AI platform built for data sovereignty, government infrastructure that can't fail quietly. You'll be led by a founder who personally architected the core protocol stack (IMAP, SMTP, POP, anti-spam) this company still runs on, and who chairs the global body writing the standards for a multilingual internet. If you want your name on production systems that matter, not another CRUD app for another client, this is where that happens.
