Job Summary
The School Counsellor will provide psychological and emotional support to students, promote mental well-being, and collaborate with parents, teachers, and school leadership to facilitate the holistic development of students.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counseling to students.
- Assess students' emotional, behavioral, and social needs and recommend interventions.
- Work closely with teachers and parents to address student concerns.
- Conduct awareness sessions on mental health, life skills, and well-being.
- Maintain confidential counseling records and documentation.
- Support students during academic, behavioral, and personal challenges.
- Refer cases requiring specialized intervention to appropriate professionals.
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive school environment.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Empathy and active listening abilities.
- Knowledge of child and adolescent psychology.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional ethics.
- Proficiency in documentation and report writing.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
