About the Role
Heliosys Technologies is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Business Development Manager to lead business growth in a specific geographical region — North America, Europe, Africa, Middle East, or Australia. This is a strategic role where you will identify and grow new market verticals, develop partnerships, and manage high-value client relationships to drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Regional Business Expansion & Strategy
- Take full ownership of one geographical region (e.g., North America, Europe, Africa, Middle East, or Australia).
- Develop and execute region-specific business growth strategies to achieve sales and revenue targets.
- Conduct in-depth market research and competitor analysis within your assigned region to identify emerging opportunities and trends.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Generate qualified leads, convert prospects into clients, and manage the full sales cycle in your designated region.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
- Upsell and cross-sell Heliosys Technologies’ services (websites, e-commerce, hosting, domain, online marketing, mobile/web apps) to existing customers.
- Manage high-value negotiations, contracts, and deal closures within the assigned region.
Team & Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams (marketing, technical, and delivery) to ensure seamless project execution for clients in your region.
- Mentor junior business development executives working on leads for your region.
- Share regional market insights with senior leadership to shape global strategies.
Partnerships & Alliances
- Establish partnerships with agencies, resellers, and vendors operating in your geographical area to expand Heliosys Technologies’ footprint.
- Leverage alliances to drive brand awareness and lead generation.
Reporting & Analysis
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and client interactions using CRM tools.
- Submit weekly and monthly regional reports covering pipeline, conversion, and revenue metrics.
- Analyse sales performance and adapt strategies to exceed targets.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in IT, digital marketing, or technology services.
- Proven track record of growing revenue and managing client accounts in international markets.
- Strong knowledge of the regional market you are assigned to (North America, Europe, Africa, Middle East, or Australia).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English. Knowledge of an additional regional language will be an advantage.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic plans independently.
- Proficient in CRM tools, reporting dashboards, and productivity software.
- Must possess a 2-wheeler for local client visits.
- Ability to travel internationally if required.
