Are you an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in AWS Data Lakes, reusable data pipeline frameworks, and modern data architecture?
We’re looking for a Senior AWS Data Lake Framework Engineer who can lead enterprise-scale data lake initiatives and build scalable, reusable, metadata-driven frameworks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead migration from MS SQL / RDBMS to AWS Data Lake with strong data integrity & quality
Design & build reusable data pipeline frameworks—not one-off pipelines
Implement Medallion Architecture (Bronze → Silver → Gold)
Develop data models using Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Data Vault & SCD Type 1/2/3
Build, deploy & optimize production-grade data pipelines
Mentor engineering teams on framework adoption and best practices
Optimize AWS costs through right-sizing, partitioning, workload-aware architecture & monitoring
Select the right technologies for ingestion, transformation, orchestration & cataloging
Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform / CloudFormation
Establish CI/CD practices for data pipelines
MUST-HAVE SKILLS
7+ years of hands-on Data Engineering experience
4+ years focused on AWS Data Lakes
Proven RDBMS → AWS Data Lake migration experience
Strong experience building reusable, parameterized & metadata-driven frameworks
Deep understanding of Medallion Architecture
Strong data modeling expertise
AWS cost optimization expertise
AWS TECHNOLOGY STACK
Amazon S3 – Lifecycle & Storage Tiering
AWS Glue / EMR – Spark & PySpark Optimization
MWAA / Step Functions – Orchestration
Glue Data Catalog / Lake Formation
Amazon Athena
Apache Iceberg / Delta Lake / Hudi
Terraform / CloudFormation
GitLab CI / Jenkins / AWS CodePipeline
AWS Certifications such as Solutions Architect, Data Analytics or DevOps are preferred.
NOT A FIT IF:
Experience is limited to building one-off pipelines
No framework-building experience
No RDBMS-to-Data Lake migration exposure
Unable to explain AWS cost implications of architectural decisions
No understanding of Medallion Architecture or modern table formats
Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
