Your Responsibilities:
The Commercial department within the organisation is a team responsible for Procuring raw material and selling finish goods. Establishing Customers and venders, activities, whole activities to deliver to the business commitment. This team continuously work to expand strategically, to improve P& L, standards or policies whilst sticking to regulatory guidelines related to the business prospective.
About th role: ADM is looking for a highly motivated and commercially driven commodity trading professional to lead physical trading of Soybean Meal. The role offers end-to-end ownership of procurement, sales, customer relationship management, supplier development, market intelligence, and profitability.
The successful candidate will manage an independent trading portfolio by sourcing soybean meal from crushing plants, traders, and brokers across Maharashtra/MP and marketing it to poultry, aqua feed manufacturers, and traders across South India. This position carries complete responsibility for trading volume, gross margin, and P&L performance.
Principle Accountabilities
Commodity Trading--
Execute profitable physical trading of Soybean Meal across domestic markets.

Develop and execute trading strategies based on market fundamentals, price trends, demand supply dynamics, and customer requirements.

Manage complete trading lifecycle from contract negotiation to successful execution.
Procurement & Supplier Management--
Develop strong procurement networks with soybean crushing plants, traders, and brokers across Maharashtra.

Identify new sourcing opportunities to enhance competitiveness and ensure consistent product availability.

Negotiate commercial terms including pricing, quality specifications, payment terms, and delivery schedules.

Build long-term strategic supplier relationships.
Sales & Customer Relationship Management--
Develop business with poultry feed manufacturers, aqua feed manufacturers, and commodity traders across South India.

Acquire new customers while strengthening relationships with existing accounts.

Understand customer requirements and provide commercially competitive solutions.

Drive customer satisfaction through reliable execution and timely communication.
Commercial & Risk Management--
Manage trading positions with focus on profitability and risk mitigation.

Understand commodity price risks and recommend appropriate hedging strategies if applicable.

Ensure disciplined contract execution while minimizing commercial and operational risks.

Coordinate closely with logistics, finance, operations, and quality teams for seamless execution.
Your Profile:-
Graduated in any stream or MBA from any college

5-7 years of experience in physical commodity trading, procurement, or commercial roles.

Strong preference for candidates with experience in Soybean Meal.

Candidates with experience in other oilseed meals such as Rapeseed Meal

Groundnut Meal, or similar agri-commodities will also be considered.

Strong understanding of commodity markets and trading principles.

Knowledge of physical commodity procurement and sales.
