As a Custom Software Engineer, you will oversee and guide the design, development, and configuration of applications, ensuring that solutions meet complex business needs and align with strategic objectives. A typical day involves collaborating with stakeholders across multiple functions, guiding teams to refine and adapt applications, and ensuring reliability, scalability, and quality in delivery. You will bridge technical execution with business strategy, fostering collaboration and accountability while driving long term success.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead initiatives to identify and implement process improvements across teams to enhance productivity, quality, and compliance.
- Mentor junior analysts and team lead, providing guidance and fostering professional growth.
- Leverage expertise in global banking platforms and payment systems such as SWIFT, ACH, and SEPA to ensure solutions meet industry standards.
- Demonstrate exceptional analytical and quantitative problem solving skills with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Communicate complex financial and technical topics clearly to diverse audiences, including senior stakeholders.
- Manage competing priorities and tight deadlines effectively in a dynamic environment, ensuring delivery accountability.
- Maintain a strategic and commercially oriented mindset, connecting treasury activities to broader business objectives.
- Engage with multiple teams, contribute to key decisions, and provide solutions across functions.
- Coordinate cross functional communication to ensure project goals are aligned and delivered on time.
- Oversee project timelines, set clear milestones, and ensure timely delivery of initiatives.
- Establish and monitor operational processes to ensure consistency, efficiency, and governance across teams.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships, influencing decisions and aligning technical execution with organizational strategy.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Advanced expertise in Treasury Management Systems, especially Kyriba.
- Oversight of configuration and customization in Core Administration, Cash Management, Liquidity Management, and Payment Administration.
- Experience leading ERP integrations for seamless data flow and automation.
- Ability to run regular cadences with support teams to manage priorities and escalations.
- Strong analytical skills to translate complex business requirements into effective solutions.
- Oversight of troubleshooting and resolution for issues reported by business users in Kyriba.
- Proven experience in leading teams, managing delivery timelines, and driving operational excellence across projects.
- Capability to align technical initiatives with broader organizational strategy.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Treasury Management systems.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
