Job Description – Operations Executive (Retail)
Job Summary
The Operations Executive is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational activities of the retail business, ensuring seamless coordination between sales, warehouse, logistics, vendors, and customers. The role focuses on smooth order execution, timely deliveries, operational efficiency, and maintaining high standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and monitor daily retail operations to ensure smooth business functioning.
Coordinate with the Sales, Warehouse, Purchase, Logistics, and Installation teams for timely order execution.
Plan and track customer deliveries to ensure they are completed as per the committed schedule.
Coordinate with transporters, vendors, and internal teams to resolve delivery and operational issues.
Monitor order status from confirmation to final delivery and installation.
Maintain daily operational trackers, delivery schedules, reports.
Ensure proper documentation related to deliveries, dispatches, purchase orders, and inventory movement.
Follow up on pending orders, customer requests, and operational escalations.
Coordinate with customers regarding delivery schedules and address operational queries.
Monitor inventory availability and coordinate with the Purchase and Warehouse teams to avoid stock shortages.
Support showroom operations and ensure operational processes are followed efficiently.
Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.
Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and quality standards.
Assist management in planning daily operational priorities and resource allocation.
Requirement
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in retail operations, logistics, supply chain, or customer operations.
Experience in the furniture, home décor, lifestyle, or retail industry will be an added advantage.
Excellent coordination and communication skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, MS Office, and ERP/CRM software.
Good knowledge of retail operations and delivery management.

Pay: ₹108.33 - ₹315.10 per day
