Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Account Executive to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should have 2-3 years of experience in the Freight Forwarding industry and possess strong knowledge of accounting processes, IATA payments, invoice processing, and Tally. The candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting smooth financial operations within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile IATA payments accurately and within timelines.
- Handle customer and vendor invoice verification, processing, and payment tracking.
- Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
- Prepare payment schedules and coordinate with internal teams for timely settlements.
- Record financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting entries in Tally.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
- Generate financial reports and MIS reports as requested by management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate in Commerce (B.Com/M.Com or equivalent).
- Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience in the Freight Forwarding industry.
- Hands-on experience with Tally ERP.
- Strong knowledge of IATA payment processes and invoice management.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in freight forwarding accounting operations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
