We are looking for a highly experienced Payroll & Compensation Specialist with strong expertise in end-to-end payroll operations, compensation structuring, benefits administration, taxation, and payroll compliance. - Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing with high accuracy and timely salary disbursement, covering attendance,incentives, reimbursements, bonuses, variable pay, arrears, and full & final settlements.
- Coordinate with finance and HR teams for payroll validation and reconciliation; ensure compliance with PF, ESI, PT, TDS, gratuity, and other statutory requirements.
- Maintain payroll records, reports, audits, and statutory documentation.
- Design and manage salary structures, compensation frameworks, and employee benefit programs, with strong expertise in flexi basket structures, reimbursements, allowances, retention benefits, and joining bonus structures.
- Handle annual compensation revisions, promotions, increments, and variable payout structures; conduct salary benchmarking and market compensation analysis.
- Support leadership with compensation planning, budgeting, and policy alignment.
- Maintain strong understanding of payroll taxation, investment declarations, Form 16, and income tax calculations; ensure processes remain compliant with labor laws and statutory regulations.
- Support payroll audits and maintain compliance documentation.
- Resolve employee payroll and compensation-related queries efficiently, and support HR leadership in policy implementation.
- Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in employee compensation data management.
- MBA/PGDM in HR, Finance, or a relevant qualification preferred; 7+ years of hands-on experience in payroll and compensation management.
- Expertise in flexi basket, salary components, reimbursements, and payroll taxation, with excellent knowledge of payroll compliance and Indian labor laws.
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with HRMS/payroll systems; strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in IT, cloud, data center, or technology organizations preferred; exposure to fast-paced startup or growth-stage environments is an advantage.
