Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive Desktop Support Engineer to manage our workplace technology. You will install, configure, and troubleshoot workstation hardware, operating systems, and core applications. You will be the go-to technical point of contact for resolving day-to-day employee technical issues.
Key Responsibilities
· Hardware Setup: Assemble, configure, deploy, and upgrade employee laptops, desktops, and peripherals.
· OS Administration: Install, update, and troubleshoot Windows 10/11 and macOS operating systems.
· Software Provisioning: Deploy corporate software packages, cloud tools, and productivity applications.
· Ticket Resolution: Manage internal IT service requests, diagnostics, and issue escalations promptly.
· Network Connectivity: Resolve basic local LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and office printer configuration issues.
· User Management: Handle employee onboarding/offboarding technical tasks via Active Directory or Microsoft 365.
· Asset Tracking: Maintain precise inventory records for all company IT hardware and software licenses.
Requirements & Qualifications
· Education: Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent practical field experience.
· Technical Experience: 2+ years of experience working as an IT Helpdesk or Desktop Support Technician.
· System Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and file sharing.
· Soft Skills: Excellent verbal communication and strong time management.
