URGENT RECUREMENT!!
A Quality Engineer in the plating industry focuses on ensuring metal finishing and electroplating processes consistently meet customer, regulatory, and technical standards. This role combines materials science, chemistry, manufacturing, inspection, and process control.
- Monitor electroplating and surface finishing processes
- Inspect coating thickness, adhesion, corrosion resistance, and appearance
- Analyze defects such as:
- Pitting
- Blistering
- Peeling
- Burning
- Uneven thickness
- Discoloration
- Implement quality systems like:
- ISO 9001
Common Plating Processes
