The Civil Engineer is responsible for overseeing structural modifications, heavy machinery foundation design, facility expansion projects, and the rigorous coordination of infrastructure logistics required to support large-scale interior fabrication lines. He has to ensure that manufacturing plants, joinery workshops, and assembly floors operate safely, structurally soundly, and in strict compliance with zoning regulations and industrial building codes.
Key Responsibilities
- Industrial Facility Design and Expansion: Plan, design, and direct the construction and modification of factory floors, material storage warehouses, and testing laboratories. Ensure floor load capacities can support heavy industrial wood-working, metal-working, and stone-cutting machinery used in bespoke interior manufacturing.
- Foundation and Structural Analysis: Design and evaluate specialized concrete foundations for heavy manufacturing equipment, CNC routers, industrial presses, and overhead crane systems, minimizing vibrations that could affect precision fabrication.
- Infrastructure and Utility Integration: Coordinate closely with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) teams to integrate dust collection systems, high-capacity pneumatic lines, industrial ventilation, and specialized electrical grids required for interior production lines.
- Regulatory Compliance and Permitting: Obtain necessary local construction, environmental, and operational permits, ensuring adherence to OSHA guidelines, zoning laws, and municipal building codes.
- Project Management and Budgeting: Oversee capital improvement projects from concept through final construction documents, managing timelines, contractor relationships, material take-offs, and cost estimates.
Qualification
B.E Civil Engineering or related field.
Around 5 years of experience in related field.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
