Job Summary
The Sales Head is responsible for leading and managing the overall sales operations of the food business, driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, developing strategic partnerships, and ensuring achievement of sales targets across all channels including retail, wholesale, institutional, and corporate sales.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales Strategy & Business Development
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company revenue and growth targets.
- Identify new business opportunities, markets, and distribution channels.
- Expand the company's customer base through retail, wholesale, HORECA (Hotels, Restaurants, Cafes), and corporate clients.
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers, distributors, and business partners.
Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
- Set KPIs, sales targets, and performance standards for the sales team.
- Conduct regular sales reviews, coaching sessions, and performance evaluations.
- Recruit and train sales executives and area sales managers.
Revenue & Market Growth
- Drive sales growth across all business verticals.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Develop promotional campaigns and sales initiatives in coordination with the marketing team.
- Ensure maximum market penetration and brand visibility.
Key Account Management
- Manage relationships with major clients, distributors, supermarkets, and corporate customers.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and business terms.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and long-term business retention.
Sales Operations & Reporting
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and monthly sales reports.
- Monitor sales performance against targets and implement corrective actions when required.
- Analyze sales data and provide recommendations for business improvement.
- Ensure proper use of CRM and sales management systems.
Coordination & Compliance
- Coordinate with production, procurement, logistics, and marketing teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and industry regulations.
- Monitor product availability and support inventory planning.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
