Electrical Technician – B Licence / C LicenceQualification
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
- Valid B Licence / C Licence is mandatory.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
- Experience in CNC, VMC, HMC and other machine shop equipment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of PLC, VFD, motors, control panels, MCC/PCC, sensors and electrical troubleshooting.
- Experience in preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance.
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards and statutory compliance.
- Ability to work in shifts and handle emergency breakdowns.
Job Description
- Responsible for electrical maintenance of CNC, VMC, HMC and other machine shop equipment to ensure maximum machine availability.
- Plan and execute preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults related to motors, control panels, PLCs, drives, sensors, MCCs, contactors and control circuits.
- Coordinate with mechanical, automation and production teams to minimize machine downtime.
- Monitor machine health, MTTR, MTBF and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement permanent corrective actions for recurring breakdowns.
- Manage electrical spare parts planning, inventory control and maintenance documentation.
- Ensure TPM implementation, 5S practices and compliance with electrical safety standards.
- Guide and develop maintenance technicians, contractors and shift maintenance teams.
- Experience with CNC machine tools from manufacturers such as Makino, Fanuc, Siemens or equivalent is preferred.
