Position Summary
The Driver is responsible for safely transporting passengers, goods, or materials to assigned destinations in a timely and professional manner. The role includes maintaining the vehicle in good condition, following traffic laws, and ensuring safety and comfort at all times.
Key Responsibilities Driving Duties
- Safely operate company or assigned vehicle.
- Transport staff, guests, or goods to designated locations.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules.
- Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off.
Vehicle Maintenance
- Conduct daily vehicle checks (fuel, oil, tires, brakes).
- Keep the vehicle clean and well maintained.
- Schedule regular servicing and report mechanical issues.
- Maintain vehicle logbook and mileage records.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure valid driving license and required permits.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Maintain trip records and fuel usage details.
- Carry necessary documents (insurance, registration, permits).
Professional Conduct
- Maintain polite and professional behavior.
- Assist passengers with loading/unloading luggage if required.
- Ensure confidentiality of employer or company information.
- Handle emergencies calmly and responsibly.
Qualifications & RequirementsEducation & Experience
- Minimum High School education preferred.
- Valid driving license (LMV/HMV as applicable).
- Proven driving experience (2+ years preferred).
- Clean driving record.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of local routes and traffic rules.
- Time management and punctuality.
- Basic vehicle troubleshooting knowledge.
- Strong sense of responsibility and safety awareness.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
