Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented IP Pharmacist with 1–3 years of experience to join our hospital pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications to in-patients, ensuring medication safety, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with doctors and nursing staff to provide high-quality pharmaceutical care.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and dispense medications for admitted patients as per physician prescriptions.
- Verify prescriptions for dosage accuracy, drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications.
- Coordinate with doctors and nursing staff to ensure timely medication delivery.
- Prepare and issue medications for in-patient wards, ICUs, and emergency units.
- Maintain accurate medication dispensing records and documentation.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of medicines and medical consumables.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of medications in compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
- Manage narcotic and high-alert medications as per hospital policies.
- Support medication reconciliation and respond to medication-related queries from clinical teams.
- Adhere to NABH standards, hospital SOPs, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm).
- 1–3 years of experience in an In-Patient (IP) Hospital Pharmacy.
- Valid State Pharmacy Council registration.
- Knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations and medication safety practices.
- Familiarity with Hospital Information Systems (HIS) or pharmacy management software.
- Good communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays, if required.

Pay: ₹8,259.42 - ₹30,132.98 per month
