Senior Program Coordinator
Roles & Responsibilities
- As a Senior Program Coordinator at Val-Ed, you will play a dual role: ensuring high-quality program implementation in your assigned schools, while also mentoring and overseeing fellow program coordinators to strengthen overall delivery.
- Interact regularly with school management (principals, coordinators, and teachers) to understand client needs and expectations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with educators and school leadership.
- Communicate insights effectively with the internal team to align delivery with school requirements.
- Brief and coordinate with the content and operations team to ensure development of relevant and customized curriculum, lesson plans, training modules, and events.
- Contribute to the planning, organizing, and follow-up of Val-Ed events within schools and external environments.
- Deliver Saksham’s value-based programs independently in classrooms, whenever feasible and required.
- Ensure smooth execution of assemblies, class sessions, projects, and events.
- Oversee the administration of credible assessments to track and analyze program impact.
- Document and review program progress with educators, the content team, the program manager, and school authorities as per prescribed timelines and formats.
- Oversee the tasks and schedules of other Program Coordinators, ensuring they stay on track and aligned with program goals.
- Provide guidance, support, and feedback to coordinators for effective program implementation.
- Act as the first escalation point for any challenges faced on the ground.
- Support innovations in classroom delivery, assemblies, and student engagement activities.
- Encourage adoption of best practices across schools.
- Ensure Val-Ed’s value education programs create meaningful impact and remain relevant to the school’s culture.
Qualification Criteria
- A graduate degree from a recognized state, central, or private university is preferred.
- Proven experience or knowledge in working on projects related to Values Education, Social Emotional Learning (SEL), Character Education, Psychology, or Counselling.
Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for someone who has/is:
- Proficiency in written and spoken English; knowledge of Kannada/Hindi is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with educators and school management.
- Willingness to travel client locations.
- Candidates from the Education sector with similar experience preferred.
