Data Migration Engineer – Snowflake to Databricks (Pointers)
- Experience in migrating data from Snowflake to Databricks
- Strong knowledge of Snowflake schemas, SQL, stages, streams, and tasks
- Hands-on experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, and Databricks SQL
- Ability to design and execute end-to-end data migration with minimal downtime
- Experience converting Snowflake SQL logic to Databricks SQL / PySpark
- Build and optimise ETL / ELT pipelines in Databricks
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks after migration
- Optimise data pipelines for performance and cost
- Knowledge of security, access control, and governance in Databricks
- Good documentation skills for migration approach and runbooks
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
