Job description:
- Supervise daily restaurant service operations and ensure smooth floor functioning.
- Brief service staff before shifts regarding menu highlights, specials, and service standards.
- Ensure proper table setup, cleanliness, and readiness of the restaurant.
- Greet guests, take orders when required, and ensure timely and accurate service.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly in a professional manner.
- Coordinate with the kitchen for smooth order flow and service timing.
- Monitor staff grooming, discipline, and attendance.
- Assist in upselling food and beverage items to enhance guest experience and revenue.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and service SOPs.
- Train and guide stewards and trainees on service procedures.
- Maintain service records, checklists, and shift reports as required.
