Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Operations Manager with 5+ years of experience in hospital operations to oversee daily healthcare facility functions, improve operational efficiency, ensure regulatory compliance, and enhance patient satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, strategic planning, and healthcare administration skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee day-to-day hospital operations to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive operational excellence.
- Coordinate with clinical, administrative, and support departments to optimize workflow.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and safety protocols.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, resource allocation, and departmental budgets.
- Lead and mentor operational teams to achieve organizational goals.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement cost-effective solutions.
- Handle patient service issues and work toward improving patient experience and satisfaction.
- Prepare operational reports and present performance updates to senior management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in hospital operations, with leadership or managerial responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, quality standards, and hospital management practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience with hospital information systems (HIS), operational analytics, and performance management.
- Ability to manage multiple departments and work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA/MHA or equivalent healthcare management qualification.
- Experience in NABH/JCI accreditation processes.
- Proven track record of operational improvements and team leadership.
