We are expanding our team and looking for a dynamic sales professional to drive growth in Canary Historian and SCADA solutions.
Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and technically inclined Sales Engineer / Business Development Executive to promote and sell Canary Historian and SCADA solutions to industrial clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automation systems and a passion for building relationships and closing deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in industrial sectors (manufacturing, utilities, oil & gas, etc.)
- Promote Canary Historian and SCADA solutions to customers
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations
- Understand customer requirements and propose suitable automation solutions
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals, quotations, and negotiations
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closure
- Coordinate with technical and engineering teams for solution delivery
- Maintain relationships with existing clients and generate repeat business
- Maintain pipeline, forecasts, and CRM updates
- Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets
- Track market trends, competitors, and customer insights
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical / Instrumentation / Electronics / Automation preferred) (MBA in Sales/Marketing is an added advantage)
- 2–7 years of experience in industrial automation or software sales
- Knowledge of SCADA systems, data historians, or industrial IoT platforms
- Familiarity with Canary Labs products is a strong advantage
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and customer-focused
- Willingness to travel for client meetings
