Job Title: Assistant/ Associate Professor – Yoga

Minimum Qualifications & Experience
Master’s Degree in Yoga from a recognized university (Mandatory).
Ph.D. in Yoga / NET qualification will be preferred as per UGC norms.
Strong academic background with a consistent record of excellence.
Minimum 2 years of teaching, research, clinical practice, or relevant professional experience.
Publications in peer-reviewed journals/conferences will be an added advantage.
Candidates must meet UGC/AICTE norms as applicable.
Key Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Yoga and allied subjects.
Conduct practical sessions on Yoga Asanas, Pranayama, Meditation, and Wellness Practices.
Develop and update curriculum in line with academic advancements and industry requirements.
Guide students in research work, dissertations, and academic projects.
Mentor students for academic, professional, and personal development.
Organize and participate in seminars, workshops, wellness camps, and academic events.
Contribute to departmental and university-level committees and initiatives.
Desirable Qualifications & Skills
Expertise in Yoga Therapy, Meditation, Naturopathy, Wellness Management, and Holistic Health Practices.
Strong understanding of traditional and modern Yoga methodologies.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to interdisciplinary activities and research.
Experience in conducting workshops, wellness sessions, or community outreach programs will be an added advantage.
Pay Scale
₹30,000 – ₹70,000 per month
(Commensurate with qualifications and experience)
