Job Summary
Kreamz Confectionery is seeking an energetic, customer-focused, and presentable Counter Sales Person to deliver an exceptional customer experience at our retail outlets. The incumbent will be responsible for assisting customers, managing sales transactions, maintaining product displays, and ensuring the outlet remains clean, organized, and adequately stocked.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for customer service and sales.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Sales
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable confectionery items, cakes, snacks, and beverages.
- Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Address customer queries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
- Build positive relationships with repeat customers.
Billing & Cash Handling
- Process sales transactions accurately using the billing/POS system.
- Handle cash, digital payments, and card transactions efficiently.
- Maintain proper records of daily sales and cash collections.
- Ensure timely reconciliation of cash and billing reports at the end of each shift.
Inventory & Stock Management
- Monitor product availability and inform the supervisor about replenishment requirements.
- Assist in receiving, checking, and arranging stock deliveries.
- Ensure proper stock rotation following the FIFO (First In, First Out) method.
- Monitor product expiry dates and report near-expiry items.
Store Presentation & Hygiene
- Maintain attractive product displays and ensure shelves are well-organized.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained at the sales counter and customer areas.
- Follow food safety and quality guidelines at all times.
- Ensure proper packaging of products before handing them to customers.
Operational Support
- Coordinate with the production team and outlet staff regarding product availability and special orders.
- Assist in opening and closing store activities.
- Support promotional campaigns, festive offers, and in-store events.
- Adhere to company policies, SOPs, and operational procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum qualification: Higher Secondary (10+2); graduates are preferred.
- Prior experience of 1–3 years in retail sales, bakery, confectionery, FMCG, or hospitality is preferred.
- Freshers with strong communication skills and a customer-centric attitude may also apply.

Working Conditions

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
