TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) – Social Science
Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified and passionate TGT Social Science Teacher to teach middle and secondary classes. The teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons in History, Geography, Civics, Political Science, and related Social Science subjects while promoting analytical thinking and overall student development.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver effective Social Science lessons for middle and secondary classes.
- Teach subjects such as History, Geography, Civics, Political Science, and Economics as per curriculum requirements.
- Develop lesson plans, assignments, worksheets, and assessments.
- Conduct regular tests, evaluate answer sheets, and prepare progress reports.
- Encourage critical thinking, discussion, and project-based learning.
- Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a positive learning environment.
- Use smart classroom tools and innovative teaching methodologies.
- Support students in academic improvement and co-curricular activities.
- Attend staff meetings, workshops, training sessions, and school functions.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance and behavior.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science/History/Geography/Political Science or related subject.
- B.Ed. mandatory/preferred as per school policy.
- CTET/TET qualified preferred.
