The Senior QC Coordinator ia resp onsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring quality controlaystems to enaure that lesther begs and wallets meet company atandarda, buyer apecificationa, and intemstional quality norma. The role involves aupervising QC ataff coordinating with production, aampling, and merchandiaing teama, and enauring defect-free production from raw materiala to final packing.
Kay Responaibilitins
1. Quality Planning & Standarda
Eatab liah and implement quality atandards for lesther baga and wallets as per buyer requirements
Prepare and maintain QC checkliats, SOPs, and inspection formats.
Ensure complian ce with AQL, buyer manuala, and internal quality policies
2. Incoming Meterial Inapection
Monitor quality of raw meterials including leether, lininga, fittings, zippers, threeda, adhesives, and accessories
Co ordinate with procurement and atores for material ap proval or rejection
Enaure proper documentation of inspection reports
3. In-Process Quality Control
Supervise quality checka at all pro duction atages:
Cutting
Skiving
Printing/Embosaing
Stitching
Edge colouring
Assembly &finiahing
Identify defects and enaure corrective and preventive actiona CAPA)
Reduce rework, rejection, and waatage.
4. Final Inapection & Packing Control
5. Coordination & Communication
Conduct final quality inapectiona before packing and shipment.
Enaure product appearance, mesaurementa, workmanahip, and functionality meet specificationa
Verify correct packing, labelling, bercoding, and carton marking aa per buyer norma.
5. Team Superviaion & Training
Lead and guide QC inapectors and line checkers.
Conduct training sessiona on defect identification and quality improvement
Allocate QC manpower effectively scross production lines.
Coordinate with Production, Merchandising, Sempling, and Werehouse teama. Attend pre-pro duction meetings (PPM) and shipment meetings. Communicate quality issues and improvement plana to management
6. Do cumentation & Reporting
Maintain daily, weekly, and ahipment-wise QC reports.
Track defect trends end root cause analvaia.
Prepare audit and buyer inapection reporta.
Raquired Skilla & Gompatencisa
> Strong knowledge of lesthertypes, defects, tanning effects, and finishes
In-depth underatanding of leather beg & wallet conatruction.
Knowledge of international quality atan darda (AQL.
Ability to identify work menship and material defects
Leedership, communication, and problem-aolvingskills
Proficiency in QC documentation and reporting
Diplome/Graduate in Lesther Technology, Fsahion Tech nology, or related field.
> Equivalent industry experience may be conaidered.
Good knowledge of computer & Spoken Engliah
8-12 years of experience in QC of leather begs andwallets menufacturing Minimum 3-Syeers in esenior orauperviaory QC role
