We are looking for an experienced Truck Dispatcher to manage lowboy and heavy haul loads across the United States. The role involves coordinating oversize/overweight shipments, planning routes, obtaining permits, and maintaining clear communication with drivers and customers to ensure safe and on-time deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispatch and monitor lowboy/heavy haul loads across the U.S.
- Coordinate oversize/overweight permits and approved routes
- Communicate with drivers regarding pickups, deliveries, and route updates
- Ensure compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations and Hours of Service (HOS)
- Provide load status updates to customers and brokers
Requirements
- Experience in heavy haul, lowboy, or oversize load dispatching preferred
- Knowledge of U.S. DOT/FMCSA regulations and permit requirements
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
