Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Traffic Manager with strong expertise in HCV vehicles and FTL transportation. The candidate will be responsible for vehicle planning, placement, transporter coordination, freight negotiation, and smooth execution of FTL trips.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily HCV vehicle placement and FTL transportation operations.
- Coordinate with transporters, truck owners, drivers and customers.
- Source and arrange suitable HCV vehicles as per load requirements.
- Handle vehicle types such as 16T, 20T, 25T, 31T, 32T and 35T+, as applicable.
- Negotiate freight rates with transporters and ensure cost-effective vehicle placement.
- Monitor vehicle reporting, loading, transit and delivery status.
- Resolve operational issues, delays and vehicle-related escalations.
- Maintain strong relationships with transporters and fleet partners.
- Ensure maximum vehicle utilization and timely vehicle placement.
- Coordinate with Sales, Tracking and Customer teams for smooth trip execution.
- Monitor daily trip volume, freight cost, placement ratio and operational performance.
- Lead and guide the Traffic team to achieve daily and monthly targets.
Preferred Skills
- Strong knowledge of HCV / Heavy Vehicle FTL operations.
- Excellent transporter and driver network.
- Strong freight negotiation and market-rate knowledge.
- Experience in vehicle placement and trip management.
- Good communication and team-handling skills.
- Strong knowledge of FTL routes, vehicle capacity and transportation operations.
- Good Excel/Google Sheets knowledge.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle real-time operational issues.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
