Job Title: Lab Technologist

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Lab Technologist to join the hospital laboratory team at Kannur Medical College, Anjarakandy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic tests, maintaining quality standards, and supporting accurate and timely patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, prepare, and process biological samples such as blood, urine, and tissue for laboratory testing.
- Perform a wide range of laboratory tests and analyses in accordance with established protocols.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy, safety, and optimal performance.
- Conduct routine quality control checks to ensure compliance with laboratory standards and regulations.
- Accurately record, analyze, and document test results while maintaining detailed laboratory records.
- Follow all hospital policies, safety procedures, and regulatory guidelines within the laboratory environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (BSc MLT / MSc MLT).
- Good knowledge of laboratory procedures, safety standards, and quality control practices.
- Ability to operate and maintain laboratory equipment efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Experience:
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience working as a Lab Technician in a hospital setting is preferred.
- BVoc candidates will not be considered.
