Job Overview
We are looking for a GPS Technician to join our team in Coimbatore. In this role, your main job will be to install, test, and fix GPS tracking devices in different types of vehicles (like cars, bikes, and trucks).
Key Responsibilities
- Device Installation: Perform on-site installation of GPS tracking hardware, sensors, and related accessories in various vehicles (commercial Trucks, Buses or Car, Bike).
- Configuration & Testing: Configure device settings using mobile apps or software and thoroughly test them to ensure accurate data transmission to the main server.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Diagnose, repair, or replace faulty GPS devices, wiring, or antennas in the field.
- Client Coordination: Visit client locations across Coimbatore to handle service requests, provide basic demonstrations on how the system works, and resolve technical issues.
- Documentation: Maintain clear, accurate logs of daily installations, service reports, and inventory usage through company reporting tools or apps.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: ITI, Diploma, or Degree in Electronics, Electricals, Automobile Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related technical field (Freshers are highly encouraged to apply).
- Experience: 0 to 1 year of experience.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of vehicle electrical systems (12V/24V wiring, battery connections) and comfortable using basic hand tools.
- Travel & Android Literacy: Must own a two-wheeler with a valid driving license for daily field travel around Coimbatore. Should be comfortable using Android smartphones and navigation apps.
- Language: Fluency in Tamil is essential for client communication; basic English is a plus for technical software usage.
