Sr. Accountant R2R (CMA) - SKF Automotive Business
We are in the process of identifying a suitable candidate for the role of Sr. Accountant R2R(CMA). This role will be based in Pune and will report to the Chief Accountant.
Purpose of the role:
The role is responsible for accounting tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of record to report transactions for an assigned entity/ geography.
Key responsibilities (or What you can expect in the role)
Your day-to-day work/ Key Responsibilities:
- General Ledger Management: Prepare and maintain the day-to-day Contract Manufacturing transactions i.e. complex accounting and reporting of intercompany transactions pertaining to Contract Manufacturing involving SKF Group entities which spans across 100+ entities, ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions. Understand the complexity of the transactions, manage voluminous data transactions flow.
- Controlling: Controlling activities with respect to Internal order, SC/PS updation in system, stock transfers and other activities
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation and analysis of intercompany transactions tracker, compliances, connect with counterparty, Trading and Manufacturing margin workings, Import cost allocation between OUCs,
- Inventory - Inventory reconciliation at unit level for Contract manufacturing unit, FIFO valuation,
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant accounting principles, standards, and regulations, Make sure all applicable internal controls are followed the process and compliant with internal controls
- Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation, explanations, and reconciliations, disclosure in financial statements for related party transactions
- Co-ordination with business stakeholder and other team members: Get in touch with business stakeholders and provide the requirement on timely basis for decision making. Further need to have communication with O2C team, P2P team and controlling to sort out various issue related to GL accounts and to improve the processes.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and improve financial processes and controls, proposing and implementing efficient solutions to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and data integrity.
Requirements (or We expect you to have/be)
- MBA/ CA finalist/ with 4 to 6 yrs. of exp. in accounting
- Relevant Experience/ Knowledge in reputed Captive/Outsourcing RTR Ops.
- Good Written/Verbal Communication
- Excel Knowledge.
- Preferred someone with exposure of SAP for 1+ years
- Stakeholder Management experience
- Quality Lean/Process Improvement knowledge
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written, as the role involves working in a cross functional team.
