- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships. Must reach out to customer leads through cold calling.
- Maintain cordial relationship with all key clients by making regular visits, understanding their needs, and anticipating new marketing opportunities, and informing the same to management.
- Maintain the existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing a daily work schedule to call on existing or potential customers
- Focuses sales and marketing efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers and planning the activities in the best interest of the organization.
- Deliver presentations and demonstrate products to customers.
- Negotiate and use persuasion skills to overcome objections raised by customers.
- Must keep the HOD informed by submitting activity reports, results reports, daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly, territory analysis, etc.
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
- Must be actively involved in research and developing marketing opportunities and plans, understanding consumer requirements, identifying market trends, and suggesting system improvements to achieve the organization’s marketing goals.
- Must have an eye for details; stay current in the industry, must be good in implementing new sales plans and promotion activities
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction. Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
- Analyze the Territory market’s potential, track sales, and status report
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule and coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
- Based on the needs he must be in a position to recommend changes in products, services, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
- Degree is a must. MBA., B.E – Civil/Mechanical is preferable.
- Glass Industry/ Glass processing/ Automotive/ Plywood/ Construction/ ACP/ Facade Industry experience is preferable.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in marketing and sales is a must.
- Pan India sales and marketing experience is a must.
- Fluent in English and Hindi.
- Highly motivated and self-driven with a proven track record in sales.
- Excellent selling, negotiation, interpersonal, customer service, and knowledge of data analysis and report writing.
- Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs.
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
