Title: Senior Manager – Accounts & Finance
Location: Sion, Mumbai
Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Manager – Accounts & Finance to lead the organization's accounting and financial operations. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing book closures, ensuring statutory and tax compliance, managing audits, and driving financial accuracy while supporting strategic business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end accounting operations and ensure accurate maintenance of books of accounts.
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of books within defined timelines.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other applicable tax regulations.
- Manage direct and indirect tax compliance, return filings, reconciliations, and assessments.
- Coordinate and lead internal, statutory, and tax audits, ensuring timely closure of audit observations.
- Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, and management reports.
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, financial planning, and working capital management.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and government authorities as required.
- Lead and mentor the accounts and finance team to ensure operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Identify process improvements and implement best practices in finance and accounting operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 10–15 years of experience in Accounts & Finance, with significant exposure to financial management and team leadership.
- Strong expertise in closing of books, tax compliance, and audit management.
- In-depth knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, and accounting standards.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, Tally, Microsoft Excel, and financial reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet strict financial reporting deadlines.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining financial accuracy and compliance.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Sion, Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
