Job Summary
The Chartered Accountant will be responsible for managing the company’s financial records, statutory compliance, taxation, and financial reporting. The role includes supervising accounting operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing financial insights to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Accounting & Reporting
Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure proper accounting as per applicable accounting standards.
Monitor company expenses and financial transactions.
2. Taxation & Compliance
Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances.
Ensure timely filing of GST returns, TDS returns, and Income Tax returns.
Coordinate with tax authorities, auditors, and consultants when required.
3. Audit & Financial Control
Manage internal and statutory audits.
Prepare audit schedules and required documentation.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
4. Budgeting & Financial Planning
Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts.
Monitor budget vs actual performance.
Provide financial analysis and cost control recommendations.
5. Payroll & Expense Monitoring
Supervise salary processing, reimbursements, and expense management.
Ensure payroll compliance with statutory deductions.
6. MIS & Management Reporting
Prepare MIS reports for management decision-making.
Analyse financial performance and provide insights for business growth.
7. Liaison & Coordination
Coordinate with banks, financial institutions, auditors, and government authorities.
Manage company financial documentation and statutory records.
Qualifications
Chartered Accountant qualification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
Experience: - 3 to 8 years of experience in accounts, taxation, and financial management.
Key Skills:
Strong knowledge of GST, Income Tax, and financial regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, SAP, or ERP systems.
Strong analytical and financial management skills.
Good communication and leadership abilities.
