Sri Narayani Hospital & Research Centre, a premier tertiary care facility in Vellore, is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Jr. Consultant Cardiologist to join our expanding Department of Cardiology.
This role offers an exceptional opportunity for an early-career cardiologist (0–5 years of experience) to work in a high-volume clinical setup equipped with an advanced Cath Lab and modern cardiac infrastructure. You will manage both OPD and IPD care, work alongside senior experts, and handle critical cardiac emergencies in a supportive, mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Excellence: Conduct daily outpatient consultations and manage inpatient care for a diverse range of cardiovascular disorders.
- Non-Invasive Diagnostics: Perform and accurately interpret non-invasive cardiac investigations including Echocardiography (2D/3D Echo), TMT, and Holter monitoring.
- Critical Care: Manage acute cardiac emergencies (such as acute MI, heart failure, and complex arrhythmias) in the specialized Cardiac Care Unit (CCU / CICU).
- Cath Lab Operations: Assist senior interventionalists and independently perform coronary angiographies and basic interventions based on your proficiency level.
- Collaborative Care: Participate in clinical rounds, mortality reviews, and multidisciplinary discussions to ensure high standards of patient safety and NABH compliance.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: DM / DNB in Cardiology from an NMC-recognized institution.
- Experience: 0 to 5 years (Fresh post-graduates look to build solid clinical/procedural ground are highly welcome).
- Registration: Valid registration with the Tamil Nadu Medical Council (or National Medical Commission).
- Skills: Strong diagnostic acumen, quick decision-making in emergency situations, and compassionate patient communication.
