Role Overview
We are hiring a Senior Vibe Coder who can both build AI driven web products and work confidently with WordPress. You will split your time between AI assisted development in Node.js/Python and end to end WordPress website and landing page development for the company and its brands.
Key Responsibilities
AI / Vibe Coding ( 50%)
- Use AI coding tools (Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, Replit, etc.) to design, build, and iterate on external web apps, tools, and micro products.
- Work primarily in Node.js and Python to build APIs, backends, and automations, letting AI handle boilerplate while you control structure and quality.
- Integrate third party APIs and services, and deploy features into real production environments.
- Take features from idea to live release: clarify requirements, guide the AI, test thoroughly, and refine based on usage data and feedback.
- Establish good practices for safe, maintainable AI assisted development within the team.
WordPress Development ( 50%)
- Design, build, and maintain WordPress websites and landing pages using themes, page builders, and custom layouts.
- Customize and configure themes and plugins to meet design and functional requirements.
- Implement new sections, pages, and templates based on briefs, references, or provided designs.
- Ensure all WordPress sites are responsive, fast, and stable across major devices and browsers.
- Handle day to day WordPress tasks such as updates, basic security, backups, and troubleshooting.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4–7+ years of experience building web products or tools in production (backend or full stack).
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and Python, including real world experience building and maintaining APIs/services.
- Deep, consistent use of AI coding tools as part of your regular development workflow.
- Solid, hands on WordPress experience: full sites and landing pages, themes, plugins, and common issue resolution.
