Job Description: Packing Executive / Officer (Experienced)
Position: Executive / Officer – Packing
Department: Production – Packing
Experience: 2 – 5 Years (Pharma Industry)
Education: B.Sc / B.Pharm / M.Pharm
Role Objective:
To supervise and manage secondary packaging operations, ensuring all pharmaceutical products are packed as per quality standards, regulatory compliance, and production timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Supervision:
Independently oversee daily packing activities including blistering, strip packing, labeling, and cartoning to meet production targets.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate Batch Packing Records (BPR) and logbooks in real-time as per cGMP requirements.
Machine Management:
Ensure proper setup, operation, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting of packing machinery. Coordinate with the maintenance team for breakdowns.
Manpower Handling:
Lead, train, and manage packing line staff and labor to achieve productivity and efficiency targets.
Yield & Wastage Control:
Monitor packing yield and control wastage within permissible limits.
Compliance & Quality:
Ensure strict adherence to SOPs, cGMP guidelines, and safety procedures on the shop floor.
Line Clearance:
Perform and verify line clearance at every stage to avoid mix-ups and cross-contamination.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of primary and secondary packaging processes
- Familiarity with packing machines and troubleshooting
- Good leadership and team management skills
- Effective communication abilities
- Knowledge of cGMP and regulatory audit requirements
Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
