Job Description – TGT Sanskrit Teacher (Classes VI–VIII)
Position: Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) – Sanskrit

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic TGT Sanskrit Teacher to teach students of Classes VI–VIII. The candidate should possess strong subject knowledge, effective classroom management skills, and the ability to foster interest in Sanskrit language and Indian cultural heritage through engaging teaching methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Sanskrit to students of Classes VI–X in accordance with the prescribed curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessment materials.
- Create an interactive and student-centered learning environment.
- Conduct periodic assessments, examinations, and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain student records, attendance, and academic progress reports.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching practices into classroom instruction.
- Encourage students to participate in language-based activities, competitions, and cultural programs.
- Identify learning gaps and provide remedial support where required.
- Collaborate with colleagues, coordinators, and parents to support student development.
- Participate actively in school events, meetings, training programs, and other academic initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Sanskrit with B.Ed. (Mandatory)
- Master's Degree in Sanskrit preferred.
- CTET/TET qualification preferred.
- Strong command of Sanskrit grammar, literature, and language teaching methodologies.
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in a reputed school.
- Experience teaching Classes VI–X preferred.
- Familiarity with CBSE/ICSE curriculum and assessment practices.
