Key Responsibilities
Retail & Store Hiring
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for all store-level roles including Sales Consultants, Senior Sales Consultants, Assistant Store Managers, and Store Managers.
- Partner with Store Managers to understand workforce requirements, seasonal staffing needs, and role- specific expectations.
- Source candidates, work with consultants, get referrals, walk-in drives, campus connect programmes, and social platforms.
- Conduct initial screening, telephonic interviews, and coordinate assessment rounds in alignment with hiring managers.
- Manage offer rollouts, candidate follow-through, and pre-joining engagement to ensure strong show rates.
- Maintain awareness of local talent markets across store locations to proactively build pipelines.
Corporate & Support Functions Hiring
- Handle recruitment for mid-level roles across functions including Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, HR, and Operations.
- Work with functional heads to draft role briefs, define candidate profiles, and design structured interview processes.
- Source passive and active candidates.
- Coordinate multi-round interview processes, collect structured feedback, and manage decision timelines.
- Ensure a consistent, professional candidate experience from first contact through to offer acceptance.
Recruitment Operations & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all open and closed roles.
- Track key recruitment metrics including time-to-fill, offer-to-join ratio, source effectiveness, and quality of hire.
- Prepare weekly hiring dashboards and present updates to HR leadership.
- Ensure all hiring processes comply with Sunny Diamonds’ internal policies and applicable employment regulations.
- Continuously improve recruitment processes, candidate communication templates, and interview frameworks.
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate degree in any discipline; a post-Graduate degree or MBA in HR is preferred.
- 3–5 years of end-to-end recruitment experience, with exposure to both retail/frontline and corporate hiring.
- Hands-on experience with ATS platforms, job portals (Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed), and sourcing tools.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple open positions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to build credible relationships with hiring managers and candidates alike.
- High attention to detail and a structured approach to screening, documentation, and process adherence.
- Commercially aware, understands the business impact of unfilled roles and acts with urgency and ownership.
- Comfortable using data to track progress, identify bottlenecks, and make recommendations.
- Proactive, self-driven, and able to prioritise independently without close supervision.
