Job Description:
We are looking for a Product Photographer & Videographer with hands-on experience in capturing high-quality photos and videos of products for e-commerce, social media, and marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a creative approach to storytelling, and strong technical expertise in both photography and videography.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Photography & Videography:
- Capture high-quality product photos and videos for use in online stores, marketing campaigns, social media, and print materials.
- Ensure that all products are showcased effectively, with attention to lighting, angles, composition, and background.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create visuals that align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
- Creative Direction & Setup:
- Assist in setting up shoots, including arranging props, backgrounds, and lighting to create the desired effect.
- Work with the creative team to conceptualize and bring new ideas to life for product shoots and promotional videos.
- Editing & Post-Production:
- Edit photos and videos using industry-standard software (Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
- Ensure that images and videos are edited to the highest standards, optimizing them for digital and print use.
- Content Creation for Various Platforms:
- Create product videos, including lifestyle videos, tutorials, and product demos for websites, social media, and ads.
- Adapt visual content to different formats (e.g., square, vertical, horizontal) depending on the platform (Instagram, YouTube, etc.).
- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
- Work closely with the marketing, design, and product teams to ensure that photography and videography support brand and business objectives.
- Ensure that all product images and videos are consistent in style and adhere to brand guidelines.
- Quality Control:
- Ensure that all photos and videos meet the required technical specifications, such as resolution, aspect ratio, and color balance.
- Maintain a well-organized library of product photos and videos for easy access and future use.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional experience in product photography and videography, ideally in the e-commerce or marketing space.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating skills in both photography and videography, with a focus on products.
- Proficiency in photography and videography equipment, including DSLR and mirrorless cameras, lighting kits, and other essential gear.
- Advanced knowledge of photo and video editing software (Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
- Understanding of color correction, retouching, and compositing.
- Familiarity with studio lighting setups for product shoots (softboxes, ring lights, reflectors, etc.).
- Creative mindset with a strong eye for detail and composition.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of content creation for social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with creative and marketing teams.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements and prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Skills (Optional):
- Experience with 3D product visualization or motion graphics is a plus.
- Knowledge of product photography for e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Shopify, etc.) and optimization for digital formats.
- Experience with drone photography/videography for lifestyle shots or larger products.
