About the Role
Prakash Lamps is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Warehouse Executive to manage daily warehouse operations, inventory control, and stock movement. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with warehouse management software such as 6 Orbit, SAP, or similar ERP systems, along with strong knowledge of inventory management processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse operations, including inward and outward material movement.
- Ensure accurate receipt, inspection, and storage of incoming materials.
- Process dispatches and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in 6 Orbit, SAP, or other Warehouse Management Systems (WMS/ERP).
- Perform regular stock audits, cycle counts, and physical inventory verification.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the procurement team for replenishment.
- Prepare Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), Delivery Challans, and other warehouse documentation.
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of inventory.
- Coordinate with logistics, production, and sales teams for smooth material flow.
- Identify inventory discrepancies and resolve stock-related issues.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Generate inventory and stock movement reports for management.
Required Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in warehouse operations or inventory management.
- Hands-on experience with 6 Orbit, SAP, or similar ERP/Warehouse Management Software.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Inward & Outward Material Management
- Inventory Control
- Stock Audits & Cycle Counts
- Goods Receipt & Dispatch Process
- Warehouse Documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory reporting.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or a related field.
- Experience in the manufacturing or lighting industry will be an added advantage.
