Job Opening: Agronomist – Hydroponics (Polyhouse Farming)

About the Role
Keshorai Greens is looking for a passionate and experienced Agronomist to manage and optimize commercial hydroponic crop production in a modern polyhouse. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of soilless cultivation and be capable of improving crop health, yield, and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day hydroponic crop production in polyhouses.
- Monitor crop health and diagnose nutrient deficiencies, pests, and diseases.
- Prepare and manage fertigation and irrigation schedules.
- Monitor and maintain EC, pH, drainage, and irrigation systems.
- Implement IPM (Integrated Pest Management) and crop protection programs.
- Ensure proper climate management inside the polyhouse.
- Supervise farm staff and maintain operational discipline.
- Maintain production records and provide regular crop performance reports.
- Optimize yield, quality, and resource efficiency.
Requirements
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Agriculture, Horticulture, Agronomy, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in hydroponics or protected cultivation.
- Strong knowledge of hydroponic nutrient management and fertigation.
- Experience with cucumber, tomato, capsicum, leafy greens, or similar crops is preferred.
- Ability to identify and manage crop diseases and pests.
- Good communication and team management skills.
