The School/ Student Counsellor at Ramagya School - N. Extension delivers direct mental health and psycho-social support to students across emotional, behavioral, social, and academic dimensions. This role bridges clinical counselling practice with educational environments, requiring mastery of individual and group intervention delivery within school settings. Success is measured through documented improvements in student emotional regulation, academic performance, and behavioral outcomes.
Core outcomes include: reducing student emotional and behavioral crisis incidents by establishing early intervention protocols; improving academic performance through learning barrier identification and targeted support; achieving measurable parent satisfaction through structured engagement communication; and maintaining compliant, confidential counselling records that support evidence-based practice. The role directly contributes to whole-school student welfare infrastructure and institutional accountability for student wellbeing metrics.
Key responsibilities encompass conducting diagnostic assessments of emotional, behavioral, and learning concerns; designing and delivering individual and group counselling sessions using evidence-based methodologies; conducting parent consultation and psycho-education sessions; maintaining secure, organized counselling records with appropriate confidentiality protocols; collaborating with teachers and administrators on student referrals and support plans; and contributing to co-curricular initiatives that promote student mental health awareness.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
