UI/UX Designer
Experienced UI/UX Designer with a strong focus on designing intuitive, scalable, and modern digital experiences for cloud-native enterprise insurance platforms.
This role partners closely with product, engineering, architecture, AI, and business teams to translate complex workflows into streamlined user experiences that support future-state product strategy and platform evolution.
The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in enterprise product design, UX discovery, prototyping, and design delivery for complex digital products, platform modernization initiatives, and AI-enabled experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Design intuitive, user-centered experiences for complex enterprise insurance platforms, supporting policy and related operational workflows.
- Collaborate closely with product, engineering, architecture, AI, and business stakeholders to define user needs, align on requirements, and ensure design feasibility.
- Lead and support UX discovery activities, including stakeholder workshops, user interviews, workflow analysis, and journey mapping.
- Translate complex workflows and business requirements into efficient, scalable, and user-friendly design solutions.
- Create information architecture, user flows, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for both greenfield and modernization initiatives.
- Ensure alignment with platform architecture and delivery goals, producing implementation-ready designs and annotated specifications.
- Contribute to and maintain reusable design systems, UI standards, and pattern libraries to ensure consistency across products.
- Support iterative design refinement through feedback, usability evaluation, and continuous collaboration across delivery cycles.
- Help shape user experiences for next-generation AI-enabled capabilities, including human-in-the-loop and agent-assisted workflows.
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong hands-on experience in UI/UX, interaction, and workflow design using user-centered design principles.
- Experience designing complex enterprise applications (insurance, financial services, or other process-heavy domains preferred).
- Proven experience in UX discovery methods such as workshops, user interviews, journey mapping, and usability testing.
- Hands-on experience with Figma and modern design tools; familiarity with FigJam, Miro, Jira, and Confluence.
- Ability to translate complex business and operational requirements into intuitive, scalable digital experiences.
- Experience working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams.
- Working knowledge of responsive design, accessibility standards, and component-based UI patterns.
- Experience contributing to design systems and reusable UI components.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled product experiences or digital transformation initiatives is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present design rationale and drive stakeholder alignment.
- Experience designing user experiences for insurance platforms, products, or operational workflows is preferred.
- Familiarity with Policy Administration Systems (PAS) and policy lifecycle processes such as quoting, underwriting, policy issuance, endorsements, renewals, and servicing is preferred.
