Role Overview
As our Assistant Store Manager, you'll play a key role in driving your store's success by supporting the Store Manager in leading the team, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and achieving ambitious business goals. You'll help ensure smooth store operations while motivating the team to perform at their best every day.
This is more than supporting store operations—it's about inspiring people, maintaining high operational standards, and helping create memorable shopping experiences that keep customers coming back.
What You'll DoSupport Business Performance
- Support the Store Manager in achieving store sales and profitability targets.
- Monitor and help improve retail KPIs including Sales, Conversion, ATV, UPT, Productivity, and Customer Satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities to drive business growth through strong floor leadership and commercial awareness.
- Take ownership of store performance in the Store Manager's absence.
Support Store Operations
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations across inventory, cash management, visual merchandising, and compliance.
- Maintain high standards of store presentation and operational discipline.
- Drive stock accuracy, shrinkage control, and adherence to company SOPs.
- Assist in opening, closing, and overall store administration.
Lead & Develop the Team
- Support the Store Manager in coaching, motivating, and developing a high-performing team that lives the Uni Seoul values.
- Lead the team by example and create a positive, energetic work environment.
- Help onboard new team members and provide ongoing coaching to improve performance.
Deliver Exceptional Customer Experiences
- Create a welcoming and engaging shopping environment that customers want to return to.
- Ensure every customer interaction reflects the Uni Seoul brand and exceeds expectations.
- Resolve customer concerns promptly while building long-term customer relationships and loyalty.
Build a Culture of Excellence
- Monitor store performance and proactively identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct daily team huddles and support performance coaching sessions.
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the team.
What We're Looking For
- 2–4 years of experience in retail, with at least 1 year in a supervisory, Team Leader, or Assistant Store Manager role, preferably in lifestyle, beauty, fashion, cosmetics, or other high-footfall retail environments.
- Strong understanding of retail KPIs, inventory management, visual merchandising, and customer experience.
- Good leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
- A customer-first mindset with strong commercial acumen.
- Ability to make quick decisions and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced retail environment.
- Passion for developing people, solving challenges, and delivering operational excellence.
