Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the company's day-to-day accounting activities, financial records, statutory compliance, and reporting requirements. The candidate should be capable of handling accounts independently and coordinating with auditors, banks, and government departments.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Finance
- Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions in Tally/ERP.
- Prepare and maintain ledgers, cash book, bank book, and journal entries.
- Reconcile bank accounts, customer accounts, and supplier accounts.
- Monitor receivables and payables.
- Prepare monthly profit & loss statements and financial reports.
- Manage petty cash and cash flow.
GST & Statutory Compliance
- Prepare GST reports and coordinate GST filing.
- Maintain purchase and sales registers.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors and consultants during audits.
Export & Textile Industry Documentation
- Verify export invoices and shipping-related documents.
- Coordinate with export documentation and logistics teams.
- Maintain records of export transactions and payments.
- Follow up on export incentives and related documentation if required.
Payroll & Administration
- Process employee salaries and maintain payroll records.
- Handle employee reimbursement and expense records.
- Maintain statutory employee records.
Reporting
- Prepare MIS reports for management.
- Analyze expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Support management with budgeting and financial planning.
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles.
- Experience in Tally Prime and MS Excel.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Good analytical and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) preferred.
- Minimum 2-5 years of accounting experience.
- Experience in textile manufacturing or export industry preferred.
Salary
Salary will be based on experience and qualifications.
