Job Title: Chinese Chef
Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Chinese Chef to prepare authentic Chinese dishes, maintain food quality, and ensure kitchen hygiene standards. The candidate should have knowledge of Chinese cuisine, food preparation techniques, and kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook Chinese dishes according to recipes and quality standards.
Plan menus and suggest new dishes.
Ensure food presentation and taste consistency.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
Monitor food stock and place ingredient orders when required.
Minimize food wastage and control costs.
Follow food safety and health regulations.
Coordinate with kitchen staff for smooth operations.
Requirements:
Experience as a Chinese Chef or similar role.
Knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques, sauces, and ingredients.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Good teamwork and time-management skills.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
Preferred Qualification:
Diploma/Certificate in Culinary Arts or relevant experience.
